Happy Turkey Day!

Homecoming is only in a few days (not that I'm going), and soon there will bee this Buy-A-Guy Auction! What is it? "Hundreds" of people will flock into the cafeteria on the 24th to buy the "guy of their dreams". Man some people are so desperate! LoL but I heard that those hundreds of people will more likely be coming there to watch the whole thing rather than to buy their dates. It's gonna be funny tho, I kno it! Anyone want to buy me? x)

This Saturday I'm teaching kids in the Cantonese class 3 how to do Chinese painting. last time a lot of them weren't even paying attention.. playing on their game boys.. lol. my second year doing this.. aiyah But actually this year's kids were really nice. But because they're the most well-behaved, I feel very sad because I had to show them the most boring painting in the history of art. Harrison - painting an old guy! Steve - painting an eagle! Jenny - ... a basket of cherries? O yea! and if you type my name into google.com, you can see some of the Chinese paintings I did that are hosted by The Annual Chinese Painting Competition. that's right! i'm famous! lol

lol in Chinese School, we were reading a new chapter in this book, and in order for the teacher to demonstrate what the chapter meant, she took 2 guys and made them hold hands (!) and Herman played the role of the goat trapped in a fence. Teacher was like, "Now how would you get out of this pen?" and herman.. that idiot.. lol he ran past their arms and headfirst into the door! lol dont kill me for this herman

the WestSide Story play on Friday was good! the seats weren't that great tho.. i have a butt-ache x_x lol. it's not everyday you get to see guys doing ballet lol! We ate lunch by the river in Red Bank.. pretti cool it was like a picnic.. I just had to make sure none of the seagulls would drop by and eat my bun ^^" These guys tried to go onto one of the motor-boats while we were eating.. lol! imagine what would happen if they really accidentally started it up. Today we went to Barnes and Nobles and I bought this Yelloh-Girls book.. it's interesting. Yelloh-Girl is like a Chinese American Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul for Girls.. can it get any more specific than that?! It was made by the manager of www.asianavenue.com

Guess what I just realized.. I'm SHORT and I can't think of anything to fix it. My parents are giving me all these details on how I never ate a lot of meat when I was growing and how I used to skip meals T_T As if I feel bad enough now. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can still grow taller during the next year or so before I stop growing? I'm only 5 feet and I don't really trust the internet.. lotsa scams out there u kno. If you give some reccomendations too, it would be a lotta help. thanxx =)

Eve is coming out with a new fashion line!! Lol that very random.. And as for the price.. "I'm going to make it affordable. It will be at Macy's and Bloomingdales." Heyheys! School is soo tiring.. even more so than CTY! Sooo much homework too, and if that wasn't enough, I joined the tennis team so I got like no time to study. But on the bright side, I'm actually passing Bio! lol that reminds me.. the second week of school, we were observing sea creatures, and we got this deformed hairy crab in a petri dish xP so anyways when we got up to stretch, i looked down at the table and saw the crab lifting up the lid and crawling onto the table! i was like "HOLY SH--!" and the whole class turned around.. yeah.. i am a big mouth =) then later this guy was looking at the same crab, and he actually decided to lift up the lid of the dish, so it ran across the table.. lol he tried to pick it up with his hands! then he had to drag it back onto the dish with the lid.. hey at least the teacher didn't see this

Oh yeah! And I got cOnTaCtS too =) Do you know how many hours it took me to get one in my eye? 2 hours of poking my eye x_x i looked as though I had been crying. Tomorrow the English Honors class will be going to see the Westside Story play.. oo I already saw movie.. i cried hehe.. but it's probably going to be good.. it's gonna HAVE to be good because i'm missing out on school because of this!

A Happy Birthday to my Mommy and Daddy. I gave my mom a clay bear holding a star (saying Happy Birthday in Chinese) and a Hunny pot.. my dad burned it in the oven so it was completely black tho while we were playing Tetris =/. We're missing out on the midterms this year in Chinese School.. haha we're the only ones to do that! And also my Abercrombie & Fitch Racism article finally came out on the American school newspaper.. wow when i was walking to my next class, I heard these 2 guys talking, "Oh, have you heard of Abercrombie? 2 Wongs Can Make it White? That is so stupid, now nobody is going to buy their clothes..." and i was like "hey!!! i wrote that!!" lol i feel important

Mars... On August 27th, when it was supposed to be the brightest, I sat outside on my mom's Toyota from 11 pm til 12 watching the red planet with my family. It was supposed to be the closest and the brightest on that day. Man it's not going to be happening in around 50,000 years... lol do you think we'll be alive then? It was even close enough for my parents to take a picture of it and record it too. It is so beautiful.. I'm pretty sure it's still out there now, if you check out during the late evening, even though it's much smaller than before.. don't miss out on your chance =)

Xangaing has been fun.. but so has my summer. Drove back to Brooklyn and learned how to play handball the *right* way, rode around in my bike, camps, Ultimate Frisbee, tennis, badminton and meeting new people =) I'll stop xanga for a few months or so. Sorry!! Plus I will have lots of work later anyway, so.. you know how I am when there's a computer beside me when I have chores and homework and stuff. Hehe xP Yeah so drop me a message in my guestbook, when you get the chance. Just enjoy the few days of summer you have left!

August 17: Just a note..this night or any of the nights this month, go outside and check out for the largest and brightest object you see in the sky. If you focus on it, you can actually see the red tint. That's Mars, and it hasn't been this close to Earth in at least 60,000 years. I checked it out in a powerful telescope, and I could actually see the shape and curves and everything. You may not be able to see it as clearly, but you definitely will be able to see Mars. Try going at 10 to 12 PM.. that's when I went. The brightest and largest view of Mars will be on the 27th of August. Enjoy

Went to the CCTV Reunion @ my uncle's house last week. It's this TV show short series program that my mom and aunts were starring in the 80's.. very funny ^^ Steve taught me how to play Diablo for the first time.. I kinda sucked so I just used his characters to beat the crap out of everyone lol.. I went roller-skating for like the 1st time in years and I pk.. tried to skate rly fast but I fell on my butt every few minutes.. that or I ran into something haha stupid ><

My hamster passed away ='( .. I was right by her before she stopped breathing.. *sigh*..

Stupid sister was just digging through my bedroom a minute ago... got pissed off at her and with my short temper, told her to get out.. but accidentally woke up my dad this way and he started screaming at me.. let my sister continue looking through my stuff.. *aiyah* lol xP.. the world's not fair!

Very tired..! When I'm not working, I'm watching Meteor Garden and probably hours a day too x_x Dao Ming Dzi is my favorite!! My new haircut looks great.. shoulder lengths with lotsa layers and bangs that are parted to the side. hehe I cut off like.. 9 inches of my hair.. the back of my head feels so light lol

Chinese Summer Camp is coming soon.. I'm starting to worry again because even though it's for all students who can speak Chinese, everyone speaks Mandarin.. hello! Did they forget about all the Canto people?! And remember how I said earlier that last year's martial arts teacher (taught us how to fight using a spear and sword.. sounds interesting hm? ^^) He kept screaming at me because I couldn't follow him, until he found out that I know a different dialect.. but I'm learning Mandarin now.. slowly, but yeah..

Anyway.. gotta go jogging since all I've been doing around in the house the past week is sitting and munching off snacks so.. ciao!

Was at my grandparents' house last Wednesday to Saturday night fun... my aunt got back from Jamaica ~ sounds like heaven.. haha she even took pixs of the food too.. Where's my summer vacation?! Hehe later we sang some karaoke and played video games with my aunt's boyfriend.. beat me 9 to nothing!! Ah I used to be so good.. just wait until I practice.. he won't be boasting nemore >=)

^ Watching Meteor Garden!!! I love it so much.. haha but it's in Mandarin so I can't really understand it by just listening to them so I have to read the Chinese subtitles on the bottom ^.^" yep yep.. lol what will my aunt say when she sees me holding a remote control in one hand & a Chinese-English dictionary in the other. It's really really good though! Buy it, grab some popcorn (and maybe a Chinese-English dictionary too), relax, and enjoy!! I know you'll like it!

Okii I'm going to be getting some early sleep soon.. waiting for a Fedex truck or something to drive by and send me a huge package from yesasia.com, because the new Jay Chou cd is here!!

~---July 19th---~

Remember how I really wanted to highlight my hair?! HA. I just found out that I got natural highlights from the sun. So now like 5 inches from the bottom of my hair is auburn! Talk about sun-kissed =)

New Jay Chou background!

CTY was amazing. The fact that I actually survived 3 weeks in a dorm of 13 girls from New Jersey to Japan is amazing. And the fact that we actually got to go outside for a change in Geometry instead of staying in and copying notes from the blackboard was amazing (but we had to work outside).

The dances were cool. Some disagree but they are soo much better than the ones at school. At least everyone was dancing (instead of *cough* sitting on the tables during *cough* the Cha Cha Slide)!! Inside joke: Remember the *American Pie dance*!!There were some people who raved.. really awesome. Brian: "I can't dance.. so I rave. It's the white guy's excuse for not dancing." He raved in the middle of our talent show performance (Missy Elliot's "Gossip Folk") and we also did Steps. We got a loud applause, but I think it was mostly for Brian. But thanks!! On the last dance, I wore my formal dress, even though I decided not to dance for most of the time because I really had to beat Alton just ONE time in Chinese Polker. It took half an hour, but it was WORTH it because you should've seen his face when he LOST! BOOYAH! lol

Chris is a great tennis player and so is Deepa.. lotsa competition as well as fun while I'm playing with them, just not when I'm playing on the sunny side 2 against 1!! The sun reflected on my glasses and all I could see while playing was the reflection of my eyes("Ahh!! The glare!!") lolol

I got some pictures from CTY to develop.. I will post them up when I can.

The wedding reception for my Daddy's cousin was really great. It's a cruise on a boat circling New York City - can it get any better?! I passed by my birthplace and Statue of Liberty.. oh the memories.. Tabitha and I had lots of fun just sitting in the front of the boat and waving at the faraway people from the parks. Very relaxing.. Definitely a moment to remember.

School is out! No more graduation practice! It was all Stand Up, Sit Down, Stand Up, Sit Down, Up, Down Again, Stand Up, One More Time!

My family went on a picnic at Holmdel Park last Saturday on the first day of summer – and it was raining! Actually, it wasn’t so bad.. even though i spent the whole day in the woods. I've never been in a forest when it was raining.. haha i almost slipped when I was going downhill.. and I had to use the roots of trees as my steps ^^"

Edith: "They should change it to 'It's raining gurlz'. I wanna come from the sky, and fall and hit my head on the ground!" lol weird gurl x) i miss my ranney budz

My grandmother had an operation.. I overheard that she’s not feeling well on the phone.. hope she feels better. Annddd.. My mother gave me a new book - haha Gary is going to be so jealous (and at a good price too!) I finally found my favorite silver dress.. took me 3 months lol but i made it just in time for the wedding this coming Saturday (Congrats to my father's cousin

Lessee.. I will probably be over at my aunt's house or Tabitha's for several weeks, maybe staying over in Brooklyn or shopping in Chinatown.. either way it's going to be great and I'll be going to Chinese Summer Camp too. I'm the only Cantonese person there!! Last year's teacher that taught us how to fight with swords and spears only spoke Mandarin, and I ended up being the one screamed at (and sprayed with spit the most) the most by him because I didn't understand a word he said. Then a few days later, he learned that I spoke a different dialect lol and then it was all good.. ah well at least I understand some Mandarin to get by

Will be gone for 3 weeks - CTY at Lafayette College, PA ~ and no computers allowed!! nothing - no skateboards, cell phones, or guns (no guns?! *gasp*). I'll miss you all!! Here's the typical weekday schedule:

Sorry for not updating in a while. It's because of the finals!! All the exams are finally here, so I can't spend too much time online. The ppl in Texas already finished school!! Or at least the ppl I kno of.. Argh so jealous

Went to Multiplex Cinemas with Grace last Sunday! Was going to watch Bruce Almighty, but movies.com gave us the wrong times so we were 20 minutes late >.< So we were standing there.. wondering whether to watch it 20 min late, wait another 2 hours until it plays again, or watch another movie. We decided on Finding Nemo & it wasn't a bad at all.. it was really funni!! lol .. "..Are you my conscience?" neway I'm stuffed.. I was like shoving popcorn down my mouth half the time xP THANKS GRACE for the gift and card ^_______^

Last Saturday was the Chinese School Graduation and it was great.. The trophies are shaped like the Oscars hehe makes us feel special =P While we were waiting for our awards, these lil boys with trophies ran past us, and one was like, "Is he wearing any UNDERWEAR?" haha I miss being a lil kid Neway CONGRATS EVERYONE! even though I left before it was completely over, I went on the swings with Steph.. I ran uphill when the ground was all muddy and i was wearing white everything.. I didn't get anything dirty but still.. haha i'm so stupid ^^;; Lessee.. then after that we went to Ruby Palace and Jess was there too!! It was sorta dull in the beginning.. 'specially since Tiffany was beating me 20 to 1 in tic tac toe (and it was a lucki win too). Then after an hour i turned around and was like.. waitasec.. is that Herman?? Neway it was fun.. my throat is so dry from talking n laughing so much..
